Kundalini Yoga: Stillness in Chaos
w/ Kelly Davis
Times are turbulent. Whether personally or globally, it is easy to get swept away in the chaos of the moment.
This may look like a scattered mind, doing too much, not having time to care for yourself, or depression and anxiety.
In this special 2-hour class, we’ll explore using calming breath techniques, gentle poses, and mantra meditation to quiet the mind and focus more clearly on the world around us and within us.
Appropriate for beginners to veteran practitioners, this is a time to gather and radiate our energy in community.
All class passes and packages apply.
About Kelly Davis
Kelly is a Kundalini Yoga Teacher recently transplanted to Pittsburgh from the Pacific Northwest.
She began yoga in 1998 at Samadhi Yoga in Seattle, a Jivamukti studio. After that, she dipped her toes in different yoga modalities. When she started Kundalini at Guru Gayatri Yoga in early 2017 for physical and neurological healing, her yoga path cleared because of Kundalini’s effectiveness at joining physical with the spirit.
After certification in 2020, she taught at community centers, an artist collective, and at a flower farm. Kelly's personal experiences with serious health challenges have enriched her teaching, inspiring a practical approach emphasizing fundamentals and fun.
Her practice is informed and elevated by 12-step recovery, the psychedelic community, making and seeing art, and being a former funeral director.
