Ho’oponopono: Maui Relief Fundraiser

A powerful Hawaiian mantra and prayer; “Ho’O” stands for healing, and “ponopono” means to mend, to reform, or to make right.

On Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, a horrific combination of drought conditions and hurricane winds led to widespread wildfires across the Island of Maui. Families were forced to evacuate on short notice, many escaping only with the clothes on their backs. This is an unprecedented and catastrophic emergency. The wildfires have killed at least 99 people- with the number of injuries and fatalities still climbing. The historic town of Lahaina is gone. The damage caused by these fires is likely to take years and cost millions to repair.

In the spirit of ho’oponopono, Sneha will be hosting a fundraiser event to support Maui. All the funds raised will be given to the Hawaii Community Foundation - Maui Strong Fund

Join us Sunday, September 24th at 7pm, for a rejuvenating, candlelit flow led by Kihei Comerci. The event will begin and end with Hawaiian prayer. Though a free event, we ask that you donate what you can to help our Maui ohana.

We will accept donations for the Maui Strong Fund at Sneha for this event.
If you are unable to make it to the class and would like to contribute, you are invited to donate directly to the Maui Strong Fund.
