Blaze In The Dark: Kundalini Fundamentals
w/ Kelly Davis
Stoke your inner blaze with Kundalini Yoga in three monthly classes this autumn.
We’ll focus on Kundalini fundamental asanas, pranayama (breath) and a mantra meditation. As we harness the body with our breath, we focus our minds, strengthen our nerves, and clear our consciousness.
Beginning with the lower triangle nerve centers to nourish a stable base, we’ll move to the upper triangle centers for communication and intuition, and then culminating at the heart, the Seat of Love.
On this journey, we’ll cover basic Kundalini like breath-of-fire, navel point activation, and why sweating and laughing each day is key. Learn the fundamentals and expand your experience.
About Kelly Davis
Kelly is a Kundalini Yoga Teacher recently transplanted to Pittsburgh from the Pacific Northwest.
She began yoga in 1998 at Samadhi Yoga in Seattle, a Jivamukti studio. After that, she dipped her toes in different yoga modalities. When she started Kundalini at Guru Gayatri Yoga in early 2017 for physical and neurological healing, her yoga path cleared because of Kundalini’s effectiveness at joining physical with the spirit.
After certification in 2020, she taught at community centers, an artist collective, and at a flower farm. Kelly's personal experiences with serious health challenges have enriched her teaching, inspiring a practical approach emphasizing fundamentals and fun.
Her practice is informed and elevated by 12-step recovery, the psychedelic community, making and seeing art, and being a former funeral director.
