I’m speaking of the practice of Savasana, Corpse Seat, or Rest Pose. This rest state is the opening practice to set the body up for “Yogic Sleep” or Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a tool for in-depth meditation and resets our rhythms by quieting the mind chatter. Marma points are secret spots throughout the body, which allow the body/mind to further release. Marma is the second step of helping the mind achieve Yoga Nidra. All these beautiful practices are derived from Ayurveda.
