Meet Sara Feley (she/her)
MA, LMFT, EMDR, IFS Level 1, PACT level 1, CYT

Sara Feley’s first encounter with yoga was in freshman year of college. She encountered savasana and it changed her life forever.

After completing an undergraduate degree, Sara began a regular yoga practice. As she learned about her own nervous system, and tools to support her in the process, she found a passion for working with people to do the same for themselves.

This evolved into work in the wilderness therapy industry, where she saw the healing and transformative effect of being in nature while in community.

Soon after, Sara sought out a Transpersonal Psychology program and graduated from CIIS in San Francisco, CA with an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology. She immersed herself in the transpersonal realm with insight meditation, diamond approach, and zen practices while grounding her practice in the Soma with Gestalt and a 200-hr yoga therapy training. There, Sara became enthralled with the Polyvagal theory.

Sara traveled around the world and found a daily yoga practice through her month-long stay in Mysore, India. The movement practice has been internalized and embodied daily. In her classes she incorporates tools for nervous system regulation and invites a space of inquiry and openness.

In her teaching, she creates an environment of openness and curiosity. Sara is committed to teaching, learning and being an active member in support of social justice in the community. In her free time she likes to volunteer, spend time in nature, engage in joyful movement, play music, spend time with community and play with her sweet dog.
